Andrea Nehesi is thankful to have an opportunity to instruct  yoga and mind body fitness classes to youth, adults, and seniors. She strives to be personable, attentive, and caring with each person she works with and hopes to inspire others to stay fit and to take better care of themselves. 

Andrea is CPR certified and has over 10 years of experience working with adults, seniors, infants, youth, and those with limited mobility or special needs. She is a registered yoga and meditation instructor with the World Metaphysical Association and a certified Women's Fitness Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. For her own practice, she engages in Qi-gong, cultural dance, drumming, and Astanga, Vinyasa, and Kundalini styles of yoga. In her spare time she reads, writes poetry, and connects with the great outdoors.

Andrea assists athletes in conditioning and fitness training in order to prepare them mentally and physically for higher levels of performance. An athlete that understands balance, self-control, and focus will prevent injuries and become more consistent in their game.  In the fall, she assists as a sports conditioning & yoga instructor for a local volleyball team. and has acted as a program director for a youth volleyball program.

In addtion, she hosts workshops, offers flow art, cultural arts, and world dance classes such as belly dance, caribbean dance, hula, and drumming.at her centrally located studio, Nehesi Dance & Drum.
